After some banter about the recent substantial snowfall in the United States, and a helpful comment from Barry about the impossibility of snow having “zero moisture content”, the gents direct their conversation toward cooperative ministry efforts in the old country.
Rev. Stephen Steele introduces himself, and gives a brief geography lesson on Stranraer, Scotland. After his introduction to the physical lay of the land, Stephen gives listeners a spiritual tour of present-day Scotland and Stranraer. Kyle prompts Stephen to reflect on his own personal experience(s) stemming from this relatively dismal spiritual scene in contemporary Scotland. He then asks Stephen to tell listeners more about the particular congregation at Stranraer RPC, which leads to the mention of a noteworthy figure quite famous among Reformed Presbyterians! Kyle and Stephen explain the unique relationship between the congregations in Winchester, KS and Stranraer. The conversation then turns to details about the Stranraer Renewal Cooperative, where Stephen explains the correlation between bodies and bucks. Kyle asks Stephen to share with listeners some helpful ways that visitors are ministering to Stranraer during their extended stays in Scotland.
